The responsibilities of the Contracts and Budgets Negotiator include, but are not limited to:

- Oversee and support internal regional staff with all aspects of site negotiations.
- Ensures conformity to all internal and Sponsor policies/procedures, and identifies risk mitigation strategies per site.
- Leads communication between negotiators, CRO and Sponsor. Workload of approximately 2-3 studies; balancing 300+/- sites.
- Strength in negotiating cross border site contracts, budgets, and amendments is required.
- Demonstrable strength in coaching/mentoring staff.
- Attends all client and study meetings to update on progress, mitigate risks and manage Site Activation planning.
- Review redlines and provide related support to less experienced negotiators and client.
- Oversee and support internal staff with negotiations for legal contract terms and budgets.
- Capable of drafting and negotiating complex site contracts, budgets and amendments confidently across multiple countries. •

Education & Experience

• BA/BSc in business, legal or science related field with a strong preference for paralegal or Juris Doctor (JD).
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in legal or pharmaceutical field as contract negotiator, preferably within a CRO.
• Good interpersonal skills demonstrated as energetic, proactive, customer focused, and independent critical thinker.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, time management & prioritization, proactive personality
• Relationship management & influencing skills
• Proficiency in English
• Good working knowledge of common software packages
• Flexibility and Team skills
