The Clinical Trial Manager oversees and acts as an Expert for the assigned clinical trials.
It is also the Clinical Trial Managers’ responsibility to act as the back-up first point of contact in absence of the GCDO Trial Leader.
The Clinical Trial Manager acts as the SPOC for country and regional staff, as well as for the local team.

Key responsibilities

• The Clinical Trial Manager leads the Study Management Team.
• Collaborates with the Global Team Lead to execute and oversee central activities from planning, trial start-up, though the life of trial to closeout.
• Establishes country budgets and monitor actuals vs. forecast for Out of Pocket Expenses.
• Oversees the selected vendors and status of related deliverables.
• Participates in feasibility, providing recommendations as needed.
• The Clinical Trial Manager is responsible for the set-up, coordination, attendance participation of Investigator Meetings.
• Coordinates data cleaning with some supervision towards a timely and successful database lock.
•Contributes to process improvement and training, as applicable.


• 6 years clinical trial management experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English
• Strong working knowledge of ICH-GCP, local laws and regulations.
• Communicative and a team player
• Demonstrated effective leadership and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Has experience in coordinating global teams in a virtual environment (minimum 2 years).
• Proven experience in project-management and independent complex decision-making.
• Knowledge of standard Microsoft applications, Trial Master File, Clinical Trial Management System and willingness to learn new systems.
• Is able to develop presentations and clearly presenting information to stakeholder.
